A BOOK by Hebden Bridge author and musician Richard Bunzl was launched at a lively and well-attended event at The Rudolf Steiner Centre at Machpelah Works in the town.
Described as a 'popular philosophy' book, In Search of Thinking, published by the Sussex based Sophia Books, uses an accessible style and everyday examples to explore some of the oldest and most fundamental philosophical questions such as, 'What are our memories and feelings?', 'What is the nature of time?' and 'Is freedom of thought an illusion?'

"We were delighted by the number of people who came along, enjoyed tea, cake and conversation, and of course, took the opportunity to buy copies of the book from a stall run by Peter Tillotson of The Bookcase who helped organise the event," said Dr Bunzl

One of the guests at the event was local photographer Robert Blomfield who provided the eye-catching cover picture of a dewdrop on a blade of grass.

In Search of Thinking is available from The Bookcase in Market Street, Hebden Bridge.
