A young Halifax woman has completed a walking challenge after being inspired by her dad who suffered a stroke.

Aimee Flannery, from Ovenden, completed the Stroke Association’s Stride for Stroke challenge and walked 10,000 steps a day for 120 days.

She walked 1.2 million steps, which is one step for every stroke survivor in the UK.
