An early goal in the semi-final against Battyeford A put Saints through to the final against Garforth A
In an incident-packed match, an Saints' early strike was cancelled out following a long throw.
Another long Garforth throw-in resulted in a controversial goal when the ball appeared to cross the line direct from the throw. Justice was served immediately, however, when Garforth's keeper handled the ball outside her area.
Rachel Littleboy converted with an audacious flick from the edge of the box over the wall and above the keeper into the top of the net.
With the scores standing at 2-2 at the final whistle, the tie had to be decided by a 'golden goal'. Saints dominated but had to wait until the second period of extra time for Mia Cameron-Foulger to receive a pass that put her through on a long run to goal.
Holding off a defender's challenge, Cameron-Foulger kept her composure to fire the winner into the bottom right hand corner.
“It has been an incredible couple of months,” said team manager Thomas Holmes.
