MYTHOLMROYD found the going easy as they recorded a nine wicket victory over Triangle in the Sunday Section.
Triangle opener Uttley dominated his side’s innings, hitting an unbeaten 87 out of a total of 151.

Tight bowling from Spencer Harris, 3 for 35, Danny Murtgatroyd, 3 for 15, and Paul Uttley, 2 for 64, kept a lid on the scoring.

Harris then completed a superb day’s work as he smashed an unbeaten 108 off 55 balls which included 11 fours and eight sixes.

Morgan, 16 - all in boundaries - and Luke Sutcliffe, 13no, made sure he saw plenty of the strike as victory came up in 14.3 overs.

Gulbaz Khan (pictured above) took six for 33 to get Booth back in the contest after Danny Collinge (63), Leon Wild (43) and Rob Greenwood (48) had helped Norden to 162 for four.

Chasing 198 for victory, Gulbaz (49) set Booth on their way in an opening stand of 74 with Mohammed Jamil (28).

The home side slumped to 144 for eight but a 38-run partnership between 17-year-old Patrick Thomas (34 no) and Mike Barnett (12) put Booth back in the hunt before 16-year-old Josh Oliver hit the winning runs.
