AS the Hebden Royd League entered its second-half with the completion of fixture 13 and Crossroads A continued their unbeaten run with a 6-4 win which takes them over the 100 points mark for the season.
Defending champions Mytholmroyd BC A moved into second place after their fifth win on the trot.

Oxenhope A enjoyed the first half of the season and were on Crossroads’ shoulder for most of that time but three defeats from their last fours fixtures
has seen them slip to third on 70 points.

There is a further 15 point gap to Whinswood who are joined by a mid-table group involving Sowerby A, Denholme A, Lund Park and Luddenden Foot A which is covered by just six points.

Crossroads B, Hebden Bridge and Cullingworth A complete the first division and the relegation spots will be decided among them.

In Division two Ripponden continue their quest to go from bottom division to top in consecutive promotions and lead the table on 75 points.

Mytholmroyd WM sit very comfortably in second, one point behind, with two games in hand on the leaders.

Hebden Royd Park, Lund Park B, Old Town A, Mytholmroyd BC B, Savile and Oakworth fill mid-table and are all in a position to make a push for promotion.

As in the top division three teams find themselves detached and Sowerby B, Hollins and Oxenhope B will battle for survival.

Division three looks to be a two-horse race.

Crossroads C still lead on 95 points from 12 matches while Heptonstall A have 84 points from one less match.

Mytholmroyd BC C are comfortable in third on 75 points, 16 clear of fourth places Heptonstall B.

With only 20 points separating the rest of the division and several outstanding fixtures to catch up on, there is still very much left to play for.

Veterans League teams have played 12 rounds of fixtures and Hebden Park continue their march towards retaining the championship.

Their tally of 62 points is one better than Luddenden Foot but they also have a game in hand on their rivals.

Mytholmroyd BC A are next on 55 points, followed by Savile on 50 points.

Walsden, Ripponden and Mytholmroyd WM are still close enough to mount a challenge in the second-half of the season.
